Hey! Early Access for 2016.04 is available! Who's got it?
I do, I do! Update: I'm a user of Guitar Rig 5 and never really cared for the sims in TH2, but TH3 has brought me around. The Deluxe Reverb sim is dead on, and the Ampeg SVT sim is pretty decent too.

Caveat - it doesn't specifically call it an Ampeg SVT sim, it's called something like Big Tubes Amp or some such thing. I just assumed. Sorry to mislead. Update: I just got a chance to check out the Ampeg SVT model, it's called the Bass SuperTube VR, and it's modeled on the Ampeg SVT VR. They do have a model called the Bass SuperTube CL that's modeled on the SVT-CL, but I assume you have to upgrade to the full version to get that. :(

You have to download TH3 from the "Boutique effects suite". The new linear mastering effects are under "Engineering effects suite"

There's a bug with the External Insert UI not showing in this preview. Upon rolling back to the previous update, the UI for the External Insert was visible again.

Am I the only one disappointed the new LP EQ and LP MB don't have resizable GUIs? I thought for sure that icon in the corner was a resizer, but all it does is bring up the about box.

Am I the only one disappointed the new LP EQ and LP MB don't have resizable GUIs? I thought for sure that icon in the corner was a resizer, but all it does is bring up the about box.
I saw that too and I also was a little disappointed. I then thought its big enough at least on my system. Then I thought how often would I want to enlarge it? So I view it as a very small disappointment and not one that will take away for how very nice they are. I guess its all in the way one looks at things.

Thanks but it is not there as well Just for future reference I do know all of this . I have been using cakewalk's product for over 20 years now. I am fine with finding installed plugins. I am pretty sure they are not on my system.

Has Guitar Rig 5 and Line6 Pod 2.5.
Tried TH3 this morning (09:00 now in Sweden) and it sounds really sweet.
Needed a rock sound and used one of the Cakewalk extra presets.
Have'nt had time to check out the LP eq or compressor yet. Had to rush to work 😊.

Guitar Rig, IMO, has the easiest GUI. TH2/3 GUI flat out sucks, IMO.

Can you load TH2 presets into TH3?
TH3 has full compatibility with TH2 when run in SONAR. We have brand new support in SONAR to allow automatic in place upgrades from prior versions of TH2 stored in projects or even FXChains. TH3 itself is now a VST3 plugin and will replace the VST2 version of TH2. You can also manually import TH2 presets into TH3. The automatic upgrades only happen if "replace if possible on project load" is checked in the VST3 preferences AND if TH2 is not found on your system. i.e. By default it will only replace if it can't find a prior version and you explicitly choose to do so. Replacement seamlessly happens automatically during the project load process and the migrated settings should sound identical in TH3. Even envelopes and parameters are automatically remapped to the new TH3 parameters in this scenario. PS: The early access version doesn't migrate smart controls just yet. This is coming for the final version.
