If, as you say, there should be no rigid rules in music can we apply that to writing too?

Ohhhhh ... thou speakest my lingo! I love yakking with kids and autistic children. It was one of the highlights in a week of a bunch of autistic kids at UCSB for the Speech Department. They kept doing their "experiments" (what a joke!), and could not get any kid's attention ... but I was having googgagga and booboojaboo conversations with the kids, and they loved it. It helped that I also roled around on the floor and you could see that in their smiles! You know ... us theater folks ... we're crazy inside. But having fun with kids? No problem! To this day!!!!!! (Now you know what a band needs most!)
Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

I can do that any time ... even wanted to add some of it to the CHB at one time, but it was turned down! You know how a kid gets when he/she is turned down a few too many times! Now take a good look at us ... "men" ... in our 60's ... we ain't mo' bettah!
