Hey Sonar friends and Bapu! I got to open for Eddie Money last Friday

We have pictures of us performing and a group photo with Eddie coming after the photographer has them ready Not ready yet ....

In the mean time my home made "Cliff notes version of the day"    >>   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKtdhS-iFvM

It really was a fun time!! Also inspiration seeing a side video of me to go on yet anoither diet and yo yo swing

The name of my band Is Risky Business and the date was last Friday  June 9 - at the Arcada Theatre in St Charles IL. It was very fun day and last minute request to open for him - we found out Thursday!!

Eddie shook my hand and said exact quote "You guys were Fuc***** Awesome! Just like the radio"    :)

(probably says that to all the opening bands)

The owner of the Arcada liked the reaction from the crowd - we may be opening for other 80's acts this summer - Possible Lover Boy and the Fixx - we'll see what happens if anything (keeping fingers crossed)

Let's hope he's not referring to his radio that has a speaker with big old rip in it.

ya - I know -- your here all week every week - and as far as I know you still never got to open for Eddie Money -- that makes me kind of a big deal huh ?    ;)

Just kidding - I know who you used to play with someone who is now famous!!

- all I got to do was shake Eddies hand and take a group photo and eat meatballs - they had meat balls for dinner for Eddie and risky business - They filmed a pilot for VH1 the venue owner cooking them - no joke - kind of amusing -- we were too busy getting our stuff off stage to really participate in that but my wife watched them film it with Eddie

I got to hold Ike Turner's the lead wire to his speaker in his Fender amp. It broke loose during a live performance at The Forum in 1971. He looked back and gave me a thumbs up for keeping his amp working.

I dinnt get no free meatballs though.

That's cool, Mooch!
Does that mean you'll charge more for the sax track (now that you're famous and all) on my song? Still working on it.

It fits the song well. My room mate says it "sounds wonderful". It's just that... I don't have the most ideal recording conditions.
