All I can say Riley is you have some interesting vocals and some very interesting music. We are surely all different and that is what makes life so interesting in itself. Your instrumentation is spot on for what it is and each piece draws you in and hold you captive. Very well done. Peace and Blessings, John

:) Whatever plugins you used, they must have an "Absurdity" knob that you crank waaaay up, and I can respect that! I also appreciate your variety in songwriting. The mainstream lane is pretty crowded; clogged, actually. Your own lane is wide open! well done. mix is very clear, great use of delays especially. I'd only nitpick that the "rat-a-tat-tat" percussion got just a little samey throughout, you might drop it out in some spots. cheers, -Tom

Ah! Right... Thanks. I googled that and I believe it is a SONiVOX product. I watched a demo on yootoob. I took a punt on Vocodex (Image-Line) a couple of years ago (to replace Pentagon's vocoder). Nowhere near as powerful as Vocalizer, but I've not used it anyway. I should remedy that cheers andy

Ha ha.....I loved it Olpal!!! Very cool song and nicely mixed sounds. Variety is the s-pice to life!! Is that the older Vocalizer or the Vocalizer Pro? (I still have the older one, but haven't used it in a loooong time).

Me neither, but really nice job on 'vocalizing' with it. Now, I'm going to have to go dig out that plugin :))

I like to read what everyone has to say then go listen to the song. All the feedback made me expect something kinda different from what you played. I like this because it puts me in mind of some of the stuff I do at 3AM after to much coffee...lol I think it is a cool song and the effects are a bit different from more mainstream stuff. What is also cool is that this is a place where I now feel safe to post what I want without fear of being bashed around. Many songs are written just cause that was where your head was at that moment in time. So.......yep....This is what I want. Cheers M8

Very nicely done. Sounds great. I hope I don't have this hook in my head all day now but I think it will! First thing I thought of was some future shopping mall and some robots are signing this showing off some stuff. I see the Jetsons cartoon characters on a shopping spree. Yes I am damaged and this song is bringing some of it out!

This song is completely nuts. Loved it. Personally I think the repetition in the lyrics and melody can be overlooked as I've never heard anything else quite like it, not to mention the backing music actually changes quite a bit throughout. Some utterly mental sounds. Nice work.

not what i was expected... i like the 'idea' of the 'is this what you want' chorus being so affected, but maybe for only one line of it at a time. i think it'd be stronger with 'normal' vocals for the majority of it, and leave the strange vocal effects for just the 'hook' of the song. i say this, because it becomes quite annoying after just one line.......! LOL i mean, it's not that it doesn't work as you have it. it's obvious this is exactly 'what you want' it IS what you want but, the song is cool enough to stand without the weirdness, you can't understand the vocals most of the time, if you DID do normal vox, you could almost do a steely dan treatment with the 'normal' vox sections, with some really 'off' jazz harmonies that seque right into the 'strange' vox treatment. just an idea, thinking out loud. if i were your producer, that's what i'd tell you.
