Hi All... Does Dimension Pro have same TTS-1 Drum sounds?

Hi All,... for some reason I like some of the Drum sounds in the old TTS-1 DXi.

I use Dimension Pro with VST based hosts/players that do not support DXI.
TTS-1 is DXi so it won't work in these programs.     (DXI wrappers are cumbersome)

I have been searching through the Dimension drum kits or looking for an SFZ file that contains the exact same sounds as the TTS-1 Drums.... but no luck...

Anyone know where I can find the exact same TTS-1 drums sounds in a VST, SFZ, or wav format?

Thanks

Not available as far as I know.  But here are three alternatives:

You could sample the TTS-1 drum sounds and use the resulting multisamples and a text editor to build your own .sfz files, elements, and programs for Dimension Pro.

Another option might be to find a program that can "wrap" the TTS-1 DXi to make it appear as if it were a VSTi to the other host.

Or, host TTS-1 in SONAR and use a Virtual MIDI Router (like The MIDI Yoke) to route the MIDI out from your other VST host to SONAR.

Or you could have someone who's familiar with the process do it for you...  What's it worth to you?

I just checked , tts works fine in sonar 32 and 64.. as stated already , either sample it or use a wrapper.

if it wasn't working in s-64 , then I'd port it.. but well since it does I won't..

just make a midi track with all 127 notes.. sample.. crop.. make an sfz with 001-127 .. jobs a goodun .. will take 20-30 minutes at most with the right tools (recycle + a decent text editor)

Unless you want the velocity response to match the original... Aye, there's the rub!

Thanks all...   I'll port it for now ... maybe sample later....

Although I would have thought that since TTS has been around for such a long time - that someone would have already gotten the sounds  into some other non DXI format...

(I'm also surprised that they didn't include the TTS drum kits in Dimension Pro - but probably 95% of those using Dimension are using Sonar anyways so no need).
