Hi!! Do you hear 3 parts of this mix, where it sounds like the transient is being smacked

Hey..  I need help...

Can you hear 3 parts of this mix, where it sounds like a transient is being smacked to hard by a compressor..  and if so, could you please tell me, which time/seconds where abouts it is getting smacked, so I know we are on the same page...

Thanks..

Thank you so much, for all the help..   I think I have done something during my mastering stage, that I might be able to get away with, but I am also worried that it sounds like an obvious smack...

Cheers
Jonathan

Jonathan, I hear nothing but a cool song.  It takes a while to build up, but it does get there.  Overall, it sounded pretty smooth, so you may be worrying about nothing.  I admit that an eleven minute song is hard to concentrate on, so you might consider a bit of judicial editing, but it would be good in the right setting.

    All the best,

    Hi Lynn,

Omg, thanks..   I went to sleep last night thinking, "what is wrong with me, I am bothered by 3 transients."  Anyways, I became more happy with it, when I listened to it in my car...   The bass felt like it was coming up, from the asphalt..

    I was really like, "score!"

Anyways, you are totally correct, "11 minutes," designates this song as, "something for a certain moment in time."  And hindsight being 20/20, I probably could have done 8 minutes, and left folk, "wanting more," rather than, "needing a rest."

Either way, I am going to have to go back into the project and see what I did there, to get that bass on the asphalt like that.   Maybe I will find a way to haircut a part or two..

Well..   Thank you for loaning me your ear, and I'm happy that I was just, "being a hypochondriac," with the transients, that I imagine got smacked via home brew mastering...

    Cheers, thanks
