Hi...
I'm deep in the Hindu Kush, and these rare Peshwari Voles need to get to the other side of this valley before sundown. I only have this golf club. I'll put Kevlar jackets on them of course, I'm not a complete monster. (well the other thing didn't work, so there's a bit of vintage Bill Bailey instead)

Glyn Barnes Do MP3's have B sides??
Only if they're encoded with Sonar's internal encoder. If you use the external LAME encoder, no B side

I get a nice chuckle every time I see this topic's title consider how shallow the current pop music pond is.

No ... he's saying that it ain't shallow no more ... that the stuff under it is making it better!

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

The big secret has always been that the people behind pop music have mostly been extremely skilled practitioners who've been intentionally dumbing-down the product for mass consumption. It's not unique to the music industry, either. There's probably some chemist working at Kraft Foods who's capable of solving world hunger but instead collects a paycheck for figuring out how to get more air into a can of Cheese Whiz.
All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to. My Stuff

James, re The Sweet, I have a handful of singles from their heyday - Blockbuster, Hell Raiser, Ballroom Blitz, Teenage Rampage, Fox On The Run, but it's so long since I played them I can't even remember what's on the b-sides You are right though, they always wanted to be a success as a songwriting outfit in their own right. In fact I think they split with ChinniChap and released the self-penned Love Is Like Oxygen which IIRC did okay-ish, but I don't think they had much commercial singles success after that.

But I miss the bit about the Rubetts B side. IFRC Middle of the Road had a three minute nose flute solo on the B side of "Chirpy Chirpy Cheap Cheap", but then again that may just have been her voice.

The real surprise is Arsenal playing well! I wonder what movie they are watching to get inspired!
