Hi, newbie having trouble with Sonar 7.

Hi guys, I am running a Behringer FCA 202 firewire interface into my pc and have been using Sonar 7. Everytime I haven't used it for a while it seems to lose my driver settings and can't find an audio option. In the past I have had to re install the drivers from the Behringer website, and I tried that again this morning but with no success.

Any ideas what the problem might be?

Many thanks,

That used to happen to me occasionally with PE 6, but I can't remember if I found a fix for it. My interface is connected with FW as well. Do you have the Behringer as the primary sound device in Windows Control Panel (and maybe have "Share drivers with other programs" checked in SONAR), or do you use the integrated sound chip outside SONAR?

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

    Welcome to the forum.
Sometimes my Saffire (firewire) gets lost, too. I just unplug it for a few minutes and then reconnect it.
