Hi there - hoping to get some feedback on a 'before and after' mix/mastering job - T.Y.!

Hey y'all - not so new here, but posting under my new I.D., "Imago Dei".  

Hope you've all been well.  Haven't run anything by y'all in a while, so here goes.

The project I've been able to take on is fairly simple in nature:  fix the mixes and master the mixes for a 12-song CD. 

I am pretty happy with what I've accomplished on this one tune so far.  The mastering is not 'official' of course, until all the songs are lined up and done at once, but it's certainly good for now to demo my first attempts.

"Good Song for the Soul"  by Matthew Marren - original mix and master handed to me for fix-up

"Good Song for the Soul" by Matthew Marren mixed and remastered by me, Imago Dei - .  Used a song from "Long Road from Eden" CD by The Eagles as my 'compare-to' for mastering.

What's the verdict then:  Good mastering levels?  Transparent (enough)?  Good separation?  Roomy?  Warm?  Good mix levels?
