    What do you mean?

Bubba has actually posted less than his count indicates?

    Bapu doesn't post enough.

That's why he's still trailing the Beagle.

I met a High Post Drifter once.  He didn't say much.  Scowled a lot.  Chewed his horse and rode a cigar.  No one wanted to tell him he was doing it wrong.

A doctor once tried to tell me I was posting a lower count than expected.  I told him that it was because he didn't have Wi-Fi in his waiting room.  He seemed confused.

I was walking by an alley behind the Coffee House one rainy night.  There was a sudden loud noise, followed by the sounds of traffic and the baying of a beagle.  I was concerned at first, but I relaxed when I heard that it was only the low count of high heeled posts.

On a completely different topic, Am I the only concerned that "trailing the Beagle" could be a euphamism for something?

That almost conjurers an image to make me want to contact Willy and ask to be reset to 9999. Almost.

Dare I say, sir, in my mind you are the Dr. Timothy Leary of this forum.

I will second that! U.B.'s posts are always enjoyable. He's one of the few writers I'll read even if the topic is of no interest to me.

Another who doesn't post enough, but who has left some gems, is Legion ("Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know which one bapu licked and the put back in the box.")

But my favorites are the certifiable wingnuts who post wacky stuff without realizing how wacky it is. The quotes below are actual quotes, copied verbatim from this forum (I collect them, it's a cheaper hobby than clown figurines or snowglobes).

    - The ones who reveal unfathomable ignorance of technical matters while confidently offering their own expert advice. ("Highs over 10KHz suck with 44.1Khz becouse the Nyquist theorem its wrong.")

    - A subset of the above group, those who blame software for their own shortcomings. ("I lost another project due to Sonar's incompetency.")

    - The ones who gave up on trying to master English in the first grade. ("ya but the concept behind the studi inst stings with the 3 vilos and bass, is great the sound are not bad better able to mix the strings via pian view andwith the visual abillity of 3 string inst in front of me")
[Note: I never ridicule non-English speakers' mangling of English. I have embarrassed myself in other languages too often to throw those stones. The above quote is from a native English-speaker.]

    - The musically-bigoted youngsters who think anyone who can play a musical instrument is a dinosaur (remember "guitar-slinging primates"?), or that hip-hop and EDM are the ultimate culmination of man's musical evolution ("Pop music is rubbish so is folk and country i do not know why those styles of music exist total rubbish if you ask me!")

    - The ramblers who aren't informative, aren't offensive, aren't funny, just incomprehensible. ("The sum of 10 tracks at equal volume with be less than the sum of 1 track at equal volume.")

We need more of these folks. Perhaps not here in the CH, but generally.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
