History of heart disease and snap behavior (just venting)

I know snap is going to be fixed . . . . but there is a history of heart disease in my family . . . . and I'm just trying to copy some notes into the same relative position in another measure.

Client needs this track finished tonight and no, Sonar,  I REALLY don't want it to move by 1/32 notes. I REALLY intended it to move "by measure" as I selected. And then re-selected, and damn it . . . I selected measure. MEASURE, I said.

If someone finds me dead in the morning, just put one word on my tombstone: SNAP

    Aeosus - Do you have 8.5 on your machine?  That easy copy and paste routine you're trying to do works perfectly in 8.5.  You could bring the project in there and finish the work up in a Snap--get it--in a snap.

    Open up PRV, set your snap setting, and minimize PRV ... do not close it, just minimize it.

    Your snap settings will stay put 99% of the time as apposed to 2% of the time. 

    Thanks to FastBikerBoy for first telling me about this temporary work-around.

    Please refrain from using X1 Audiosnap if you experience any of the following symptoms:
    • Shortness of breath
    • Palpitations or a "flip-flop" feeling in your chest
    • A faster heartbeat
    • Weakness or dizziness
    • Nausea
    • Sweating
    If these symptoms persist, please use one dose of Sonar 8.5 Audiosnap.

    Relax. Software doesn't trigger heart attacks. Bacon and sausage pizzas do.

    My heart goes out to you as I too have had far too many days with this issue as well as my other two "pet" issues...

    Hang tuff... Use Benstat's Sonar Helper! It solved a lot of my issues with snap for now...

    The editing of the MIDI was only part of the track . . . but that portion that I had to do, I selected notes in PRV, then went up to track view to drag/drop/copy/paste. Snap is much more predictable in track view in X1.

    Hey, feature idea I just had:    Wouldn't it be cool to drag MIDI data from staff or PRV to specific spots in track view and have them paste as new clips in track view?
