Hmmm

Hi, Not new to playing and recording but new-ish to SONAR and certainly re-installed it on a new machine, an HP P7-1252. Why does the bass drum sound distorted when I play back a loop on an audio track in a new project? Same loop sounds fine using any other utility on my machine. What am I missing (lots I am sure...but this is a good start). Thanks in advance, D

Yeah... make sure nothing is clipping and your routing is set up properly (could be somehow the kick is doubled up or something). Did an effect get accidentally tossed on the track? Are there limiters or anything like that on the non X1 stuff you are trying it on?

Are we talking a midi loop thru session drummer? If so, open session drummer and click on the mixer button to adjust the mix (levels) of each drum. If it is an aduio loop not sure what to say. Where did you get the loop? perhaps myself or someone could get the loop and try it out ourselves.
