Hold On
Sean was invited to write several songs for a JAF (Joni and Friends) CD that is being put together by a group of songwriters and musicians. He asked the Scandalous Grace Band if we would help him put together a few demo's for this event. This one is written by Sean Peifer and preformed by the band. I did the mixing. He wants this to sound as professional as possible, so all comments are very welcome. This is a good piece of song writing by Sean and is going to a very good cause. I am secretly hoping that they allow us to include this song on a future Scandalous Grace CD. Performed by Scandalous Grace Words & Music: Sean Peifer Sean Peifer: Lead Vox, Acoustic Guitar, Guitar Solo. Michael Hanson: Bass, Electric Rhythm, BGV, Mixing/mastering. Reece Bain: Keys, Drum Programing and BGVs. https://soundcloud.com/michaeljhanson/hold-on

Vocals are great. Drums are good. Guitars are nice. Reece's big 'ol organ is nice too. (oooof did I just say that?) Bass is a little muddy to my ears (sorry Michael). I would have preferred more bottom from the kick and some snap from the bass. Personal preference though.

terrific. Really like the vocalist on this one. It reminds me of CSNY in a good way.

Rik- Thank you for listening and commenting. I agree, this song is really well written by Sean. We are working on 2 songs that he is submitting by the beginning of November. The next one is actually my favorite that he has written so far. I say that every time he comes out with a new one though.

WOW, someone actually listened too and commented on the Bass! Ed- Thanks for listening, brother! I have to take a 4 day trip to Minnesota, but when I return, I may flip through the Ampeg amps and see if one fits the song better.

Thanks for the listen. I didn't know who CSNY was, but Reece told me. I haven't really listened to them but I'll take it as a compliment.
