Hold note forever - possible in DimPro?

I am doing the sound effects for a stage play and intend using DimPro (or maybe just sfz.exe).

With DimPro, it's easy. Just assign the .wav files to each key.

However: One of the sound effects is a background engine sound which goes on for nearly the entire play. I tape down the key on my keyboard. I discovered my Akai Z8 has a time limit. If it doesn't get a note off, it will, eventually, kill a note.

Will DimPro do this?

    Hold note forever
You might be interested in [this thread], JS. I'm sure that it applies as well to Dimension Pro's envelopes (1.2 to be on the safe side).

You can load that sample in an element, so it's not affected by other elements polyphony. If the sample is looped, Dimension Pro will continue playing it forever, or until it receives a note-off.
