Homebase at Steinberg

Hi everyone,
We have set up a landing page with information and links that should help everyone who considers the "Cubase crossgrade for Sonar users".

https://www.steinberg.net/WelcomeSonarUsers

Please also refer to the new forum entry "Homebase for Sonar users" at:
https://www.steinberg.net...php?f=250&t=128272
Here we want to consolidate all questions regarding a smooth transition from one DAW to the other.

Also we are about to prepare an article to answer the following questions:
What are the obvious similarities?
Where are similarities that you are unaware of?
What are the major differences?

We will keep you up to date
All the best,
Frank

I seriously consider getting Cubase Pro when my wallet recovers from system upgrades and other costly purchases. Hence the question: what's the deadline for this offer? Will I be able to demo Cubase Pro next year?

I was just remembering....I'm also looking at a new EV 15 inch powered stage monitor, like 449.00. New software, more eqpt, where does it end.

I really, desperately wanted to go to Cubase Pro and had set my heart on it. I was recommending it to many other Sonarians. Sadly the Elements demo GUI was really unresponsive on my system for some unknown reason - Steinberg tried to help, but nothing worked. So I ended up buying Studio One and then the Samplitude deal came up and I got that too. I am very impressed with Samplitude Pro X3 Suite for the amazing deal price. Still disappointed about Cubase not working out for me though.

Frank, is there any chance Steinberg may extend the deal to me next year when I get more cash together in light of the GUI problem?

I wonder why it is that many top DAWs are developed in Germany?! Cubase, Studio One and Samplitude for example.

Splat, Win 10 64bit and all sorts of musical odds and sods collected over the years, but still missing a lot of my old analogue stuff I sold off years ago.
