Honoring a Plugin Window's User-set Width

In Sonar X1, a plugin's window does not remember its user-modified size. Am I correct, or am I missing a setting somewhere?

Not honoring "width" seems to be the most problematic. And not just on project load, but even after simply closing the window and re-opening it.
Is there a cakewalk.ini value to modify this behavior?

Has this been changed in X2? (Notice how I graciously didn't call it a bug :-)

I have a ton of VSTs whose UI is narrower than the default width Sonar mandates when opening a plugin. I have a multi-montor setup that I use for extra metering, etc. So, every time I open a project, the first thing I have to do is manually resize the width of a bunch of closely-packed, overlapping plugin windows. Pretty annoying.

All other DAWs that I'm aware of honor window size and position. Well, at least width, they do. Not sure about height as that use-case does not seem to come up as frequently.

Cheers.

Great work on Sonar, guys. You're light-years ahead of Cubase in so many ways. I also like the modern trajectory you're on.

(New to Sonar, switched from Cubase.)
