Hooray! Back to Normal.

Family and friends all gone not a temporary bed or put you up in sight all furniture restored to its rightful place.

At one point we all looked like refugees, six in a one bed flat/apartment, it has been nice to see everyone but now I don't care who they are, I'm battening down the hatches and reclaiming home sweet home.

New Year, at long last, begins now.

Nice to see 'em, but nice when they go eh?

We had 12 round for dinner on new year's Day, and whilst I enjoyed a rowdy game of 'drop the carrot in the bottle' ('cos I won   ), the silence after they'd all gone was bliss. The clearing up..not so much.

It certainly is back to normal.  My train was 15 minutes late this morning, and the Jubilee Line was suffering 'Severe Delays' when I finally got to London Bridge, with my new 350 pounds more expensive than last year season ticket. Just over 2 hours commute to work.  It's nice to be back!

It's always good to see them come to visit..... but it's always nice to see them leave and go home again....

ahhhh....peace and quiet. Except for that guy upstairs playing his bass guitar.

While I aspire to get to normal some day, I don't think I can try to get back to it.

    Good luck with your quest.
