I just installed & can't open the last project I just finished working on 15 minutes ago.
I get an 'incorrect path' message.

Can you paste me the full path and file name in an email? Maybe we can determine what it thinks is "incorrect" about it. Might be a specific character or something.

Of course we don't yet have a full lust of bug fixes... Not complaining. I understand...

Just hoping for some little fixes such as the zoom key one again working correctly for a hold-z zoom? (Returning to the smarttool when z is released)

Pain to manually switch back and forth with every edit...

It was replaced at the last minute with a different review due to remaining questions for which I did not have answers. Sorry about that!! The revised eZine should be up shortly, if it isn't already.

Sure, let me try a re-boot first & see if that helps.

Bill,
A re-boot did the trick along with the project pic also appearing.
(My projects & audio are on a separate internal drive if that is of any help.)
Thanks again.

The new start screen is rather nice. I was expecting a bit more graphical look to it but it will do for now.

It opened my last project with no trouble at all.  The idea I can also check for updates from it is very nice.

I like the extended number of projects listed in both the start screen and the recent file list under files. I have wanted this for awhile now.

It seems the start screen opens up when you exit a project which is a nice touch. I don't see a way to open it manually.

This is a nice update. Nothing Earthshaking but more refinement.

Thanks Craig. Another nice feature  of the start screen is if you open an older project listed in the open project default screen that wont automatically change its relative position in the list. Nice touch.

Winchestertonfieldville is in Iowa. We strictly use Massachusetts town names.

But we'll consider Worcester. Which almost everybody outside of Mass pronounces "War-Chest-Er," rather than the correct "Woo-stah."

Hopkinton update for Sonar platinum is great!

I found it best to log out completely of the command centre, then re-log in again, that should refresh it with the new release then ready to update!
The start screen is really great with some nice templates etc, plus seeing the way that tracks can be built up has really helped me to make some changes for the better!

fantastic work Cakewalk, loving your work on Sonar......

Hinsdale is too far west, in Berkshire County. I'm hoping the P version next year will be Pittsfield which is even further west, bordering NY state.  Pittsfield is where I hang my hat. It's very close to Hinsdale, actually. James Taylor lives about 5 miles away in Lenox.

Umm, I live in Hopkinton. It's mostly known as being the starting point for the Boston Marathon.
Great town.

I'm sure, but try to find the derivation of that word. Something like "New South Wales" is pretty easy to parse  A lot of towns have names based on Native American languages and have particular meanings, like Ho-Ho-Kus - which maybe sounds like the name of a comedy club, but is a contraction of two Lenni Lenape words and means "The Red Cedar."

But I can't find anything on Hopkinton - no "King Hopkinton the Third," no corruption of a saying. The closest I've been able to find is that in Sanskrit, Kinton means "crowned." And "hops" relate to beer...hmmm, maybe the name means "Beer King."

Since you live there...can you shed any light on a subject which probably no one cares about except me? If not, then spread a rumor around town that the derivation of "Hopkinton" is "Beer King," and we'll see if it gets any traction

Hi Dok...

The ezine has a list of something like 5 fixes... That's really unusually small. I'm hoping there are more un-announced fixes... I'm gonna try to download tonight (my download hours are 3-8am) and I can then see if any little pets of mine have been attended to..
U.S. There another post (PDFs)

Thanks...
