Horizontal scrolling with mouse

I have a mouse that supports horizontal scrolling along with traditional vertical scrolling, but it doesn't work in X1... or does it? Does anyone know if it's possible to get this working? The mouse in question is an MS Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 V2. I'm using the X1 trial.

I should also note that I don't believe horizontal scrolling with this mouse is a special function, as even with its drivers not present, I can scroll horizontally in various web browsers and word processors with ease.

Cheers.

You have to have a pane selected that has a horizontal scrollbar visible.
