Rik, that's quite a job of just playing to an mp3.  It all comes together so beautifully that one might think it was meant to be.  You two make quite a team, so my hat's off to the both of you.

    All the best,

Thanks for adding a bit of extra flavour to this one, Rik.

It was recorded originally in 2008 and desperately needs the benefit of another 4 years of experience (and another 4 years of orchestral package purchases ;-) ). Hopefully you'll be willing to contribute some guitar to the re-recording...
    Cheers,

    Terry.

PERFECT! A very powerful piece. The addition of a nylon string guitar was spot on. I could easily hear this piece being use as a movie soundtrack. KUDOS gents!

Of course the piano is gorgeous, as usual.

Guitar is nice, but I would like to hear come up a few db.

    Beatiful tune!

    Hi, Rik,

Wonderful job on this by both you and Terry!  Terry's original composition and keyboards sound fantastic, and your fluid, melodic playing blends in perfectly as the icing on the cake.

Hi Marius, thanks for listening, glad you like the guitar and the sounds, for now : )

Hi Daryl, it's Terry's tune, I just played some guitar to it. Shouldn't guitar always be a few DB louder ? ; )

Hi Bob, thanks, glad you like the tune and my playing.

Couldn't wait to get a spare minute to listen to this one....two of my very favorite artists...what's not to like? (well, maybe some of those sounds, but that's rather easily fixed.  Well, sorta...)  :) Anyway, just beautiful, both of you!  Stunning in its beauty and simplicity and drama.

(and yes, there IS such a thing as too much guitar I'm afraid to say, my friend.)  :)

    You guys are great!!

Hi Reece, thanks for listening, glad you like it.

Hi Jeanette, thanks, but you're absolutely wrong ! There ISN'T such a thing as too much guitar ; ) I go to all this trouble to edit out half of my playing and this is the thanks I get ; )

But since I'm at least one of you're favorite artists, I'll let it slide ; ) Glad you like Terry's tune, he is good isn't he.

You two guys were meant to collab.  Rik's clean guitar and Terry's beautiful piano mix so nicely.  At first I thouight it took too long for the guitar to come in but by the time it was over I realized you guys split it up perfectly.  Gheeesh, this is beautiful.   The recording is so clear I just .....no gushing today.  Just beautiful!

I thought the song was OK. The guitar fit well. The oohs and ahs were a bit overbearing though and could be backed off slightly. Hopefully they weren't intended to be whales singing, because if that was intention, it doesn't work. The intro seemed to be about 10 to 15 seconds too long. This song had a really depressing feel to it which really made the point. However on the bright side, whale steaks on the barbeque are quite tasty.
