How Can I Fix This?

I keep getting an error message after about 20 minutes of recording and the software crashes.

The message says

"Module : C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared DXi\VVocal\Cronus.dll"

What does that mean?  How can I fix this?

The short, glib, but, unfortunately, probably true answer is to stop using V-Vocal.

If you must use it, use it on small sections, print it out to a track and move on to the next section. Have a search through the forums for more workarounds. The bottom line is that V-Vocal is pretty buggy and prone to crashing Sonar, either find another way to retune things or learn the workarounds.

         1. Click Tools | Cakewalk Plugin Manager
    2. Select the “Show Excluded” button in the bottom left corner
    3. If you see Cronus in the list of Registered Plug-ins first select it and then click the Enable Plugin button also located in the bottom left corner. This will remove it from the Excluded Plug-ins List.
    4. Once the plug-in has been enabled you will need to restart SONAR Hope this helps.

Don't record with active V-Vocal clips. Bounce them, then go back to your overdubs.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
