How Do I turn off the Metronome in X2 Studio?

Yes, that's the same question I had when I first started working with Sonar 7. I had my recording all set up, I was in the mood to play, it was a nice day outside, so I decided to press "Record". That's when mass confusion broke lose. The metronome came booming through the speakers and put me in a state of shock because I had no idea what that sound was - I certainly know that I didn't purposely turn it on. It took me a good three or four seconds to grasp that it must be some kind of metronome and was then able to dive for the volume knob on my amp and turn it down. Needless to say I lost the groove - not to mention almost loosing my speakers - and had to wait quite a while before having recovered enough from the shock to continue recording. That was my welcome to the world of Sonar. I see now that even in X2 they still ship it with the metronome turned on.
