How Long Until an Update?

I was ready for the long awaited X2b or X3 and now the company has changed hands. I wonder how long we have to wait now?

    I just can't wait for the one minute preview video in which the 50 new features zip past so quick that some helpful person ends up having to slow the video down and list them all in a post.

    I don't remember all this build up in years past. I think I remember videos previewing the next version... all kinds of satisfying, hope-building PR.
     
    This year it's a bigger secret than a Bond hideout. It's got me aching to know what's all about.
     
    I hate to admit it, but all this no-news is making me salivate.

    The merger hasn't taken place yet. My guess is they will wait till after the merger and then print up all the boxes, CDs, ETC.

    Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

Obviously, the staff can't confirm or deny anything, so it's only fair to leave them alone. But if the question is "should I put some cash aside this payday?" then yes, do. I hear.

    Also notice in the box there's no logo Roland is not mentioned nor Gibson. Methinks the image is just a place holder that will be replaced.
