How Many Times

Here is a modern hippie bluegrass song written and sung by my friend, Davey Davis. I've recorded fiddle tracks for several of his albums. This is one of them. I played fiddle and mando on this one.

This is a happy tune.  The vocals seem a little too up-front.

"Buried you love in me"... hmmmm.... that could be risqué.

    Nice fiddle work as always.

    YeeeeeeeeeeeHahhhhhhhhhhhh... play that thang, Scotty!!!

Hot damn, but that was an uplift for me.... loved it, but would agree with Daryl that the vocal could come back in some.

Man, that was some fiddlin' there..... thanks for the lift!

    Daryl,
    Thanks mang!

    Philz,
Thanks! Glad it gave you a lift.

I had nothing to do with the mix on this tune, so I can't control the vocal level. This is likely not the finished mix anywho.

Why is it a lot of your songs you post have this looping sound going on in them where they all sound alike , had a boring effect on me listening to it but I guess for a bar room band player and band  you draw a large crowd of drunks who are happy listening to anything that sounds boring and loopy .

    James,
There is a psychological term for what you are doing here. It is called 'projecting'. It is a childish, denial type of behavior. If you must persist in being a troll, please do it elsewhere.

Weeeee haaaaa!  Fine job on this song. " How many time"s are you going to have to read ridiculous posts from your friend?  I'm sorry that he won't "take it outside" as Philz suggested, so you don't have to have this happening to you.  Like YoYo said, I have never contacted a moderator on any board in my life.  I was moderator on my own boards and would have stopped this in a flash if I was notified.  There is a first time for everything, though.

For now, I will continue to boycott Radio's posts as I have done since his "meltdown" a year or so ago.
THIS IS THE LAST TIME I WILL ACKNOWLEDGE THAT HE EXISTS!!!  Sorry about another of your song threads being sabotaged by him.

    Hi Warren,
Thanks for dropping in for a listen!
Yeah, that small noisy appliance appears to be having another meltdown. He should be sharing his problems with his shrink rather than bothering us with them. He's really "loopy" and perhaps that is why all of his "songs" are loops. I've never reported to a moderator either. Apparently the little dweeb thinks that JamesYoYo and myself did at one time, but that's just his paranoia talking.

cool fiddlin' and a good tune. obviously you don't have anything to do with the rest of the song, but i'd advise mr davis to get a better bass line in there, it gets a bit repetitive after a while.

Scott, I love this - another great tune.

I think it's becoming apparent that we are dealing with someone on this board that has some kind of mental issues.

We need to cut this guy some slack - I'm guessing he can't help himself - probably has issues that only a professional can help with.

Radio, good luck to you man - you're probably actually a pretty good guy.

Again, good tune Scotty - I really enjoyed this.

HEY.... do I have to break this up again???  Guys, please.

Some advice- It doesn't matter who's right or wrong, OR who started.  The important thing to realize is that when these things get started, everyone loses... EVERYone.  The only way to win is to not respond any further.

Geez, I'm beginning to feel like a "Hall monitor"..... now break it up.

Scotty, you never fail to impress me with your playing as it's so fluent and you make it sound so easy, which, of course, it is'nt.

Nice. happy vibe from this one with a great arrangement.

+1 that the bass line could be a bit more inspiring, but as it is, it does it's job.

    Great stuff guys.

+1 on cutting James some slack as it sounds like he's going through a hard time and it's sad to see someone go off the edge like this.  He probably needs a friend right now.
