How To Attach Pictures To A Thread?
Hi; Is there any way to attach a picture to a thread in this forum? I tried using the "Attach Images" icon on the upper right but when I choose the "From Gallery/Upload" tab nothing is there to select. Thanks John B.

You have to get an URL for a photo like the one below. https://tse3.mm.bing.net/th?id=OIP.p9zK5CWcLGOKChZMcjS4tQHaF_&pid=15.1&P=0&w=209&h=170 Take the URL and click an area where you want to paste the image and then choose the blue box under the words, "Font Size" which is, "Insert / Edit Image" when you hover over the box with your mouse. After clicking on Insert / Edit Image, the box will open and ask for the Image URL Paste the URL in the box and select "Insert". The Image will appear in your post. See below. The link is above and using the Insert / Edit Image box, I was able to post it below. See Good Luck

I need to attach a picture of my studio to ask advise on room acoustics. I guess that's not possible. Thanks JB

Yes it is possible you just need to upload your photo somewhere online and then use that link. There are many free options you can look at. The forums have never allowed image uploads for posts.

I use Imgur, much better than Imageshack or Photobucket which are dominated by adverts these days And it's free! Just upload your photo(s), get the link code and paste that into the Insert / Edit Image button above

+1 To IMGUR https://johnvere.imgur.com/ Go to home page and create an account. If you have Drop Box or One Drive you can set those to save screen shots. ALt/ PrtScr will capture your screen and save it to the Picture folder or Drop box or one drive. This is handy for folks asking questions because a picture is worth a 1,000 words.

Thanks. I used Photobucket for years until they deleted my account and asked me to pay for it. I'll try some of these.
