Ya der hey, how yáll döin'?

(Sorry, started speaking North Dakotan there for a moment...)

Just noticed that Beagle had left the country and I hadn't reported in for a while.

I moved (with my family and accompanying bric-a-brac) to a new home at the end of April, and in the interests of saving $$, we are forgoing internet at home for the time being (those 50% pay drops are a, well, you know). 

But... life is good for the most part; other than having the general crazy factor of my life drop a bunch, I'm down about 25# since February (I'm a-comin' for ya, Beag!), my BP is lower than it's been in years... and it is well with my soul!

I'll drop in when I can... I'm also on FB and Google+, if you want to find me.

    Actually... there is something I have always wanted to see in a wedding and haven't yet... the mediaeval practice of the best man throwing down his gauntlet at the end of the ceremony whilst the bride and groom made their exit/escape.  (Originally, the "best man" was the best swordsman in the county, as weddings could sometimes get a bit rougher than they do these days, bridezillas notwithstanding... ).


    How many pounds of becan would secure that service from you, my friend?
