How about 31 days of midi in Sonar? (Tips)

Knowing very little about midi, I was recently able to do a song with all tracks played by me (and Mr. midi).. With lot less drama... My Fishman Tripleplay and some knowledge of midi helped me get the licks I wanted.. My friends liked the song..

What I know about midi and what Sonar can do with midi... Still far from each other... Would love to know (with examples) more!!
I looked at the Groove3 and SWA tutorials, but they only scratch the surface...
