How can I put Aux tracks in "solo safe" mode

Imagine I have my different drum tracks going through an Auxiliary track,... if I want to solo the bass drum track to eq it, it will mute the Aux thack inwhich the drums are goint through, therefore cutting off the bass drum sound I am soloing. Some DAWS have a "solo safe" mode that you can apply to the auxiliary track to prevent this..

SONAR calls it Solo Override. Shift+click the solo button on the Aux track. The only caveat is that SONAR clears overrides when you clear all solos using the the button in the Mix module, which can be inconvenient. Also Solo Override behaves the same as normal Solo on buses (it solos them , muting other buses), which is not correct behavior and has been reported.
