How do I add Sound Canvas VA?

As the title says, how do I add the Roland Sound Canvas VA software to MC7?  I want to use it instead of TTS.

DAW: Cakewalk by Bandlab (latest version) - x64
VST: Roland Sound Canvas VA
Hardware: Roland MC50mkII Sequencer; Yamaha DGX-660 keyboard; Steinberg UR-44 Interface
OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit

    Make sure the plug-in dll is in the MC7 scan path and run the VST scanner.The VST scan path is defined in Preferences > File > VST Settings. By default the scanner is set to run automatically.

    Cool, thanks.  I've added the dll and the scanner automatically started.  I now have a message window in the lower right of my screen that says "VST Scan. Scanning SOUND Canvas VA.dll..."  Its been there for a couple minutes.  Does it take that long or is something amiss?

    It should not take that long. I do not have the plug-in so I cannot test it. If the synth has a stand alone version see if it works OK. It may also require authentication which is sometimes better done with the stand alone before scanning. You may also want to reboot your PC.

    There was an OK button I had to click (Roland related) that was hidden behind the MC window.  Once I clicked it, everything was fine.  Thanks for your help!
