How do I change tempo without stretching audio?

It's all in the title.

When I change the tempo of my project, the audio gets stretched.  Great feature if it were optional!  Thanks

In PA9 you can make an audio track unstretchable.  Double-click the Patch field of the audio track which will bring up Track Properties.  Select "unstretchable" from the Patch pull-down list.
Do this for each audio track.
