How do I do this?...shameful...I should know...

In X1 you could double click in the open space with the track controls to fit the track to the project window...this does not work for me in X2...is there something I am missing? Thanks in advance!

    Wierd thing ...

Double-Clicking on open space on the track control DOES maximize the track here...:/

    Cheers!

Check to see you haven't got Auto Track Zoom enabled on the View submenu of Track View

That might be the case Bristol...I will check that when I get home...I thought that would be strange for that to have been changed on X2...thanks!

Yeah, it's definitely the Auto Track Zoom option preventing it from expanding (just double checked). It's on by default in X2 which is kind of annoying because I'm not too fond of it in general.

To turn it off go to the View menu in the Track View and uncheck Auto Track Zoom. You can also toggle it on and off using Shift + Z.

Oops... I see Jonesey already mentioned the View menu option. Sorry.

To turn it off by default change the setting and then save that as your default template. That'll work for most things as well BTW.
