How do I get the wave to move with the transient?

Hi,  New guy here . . . . Still trying to figure audio snap.

When I grab a transient marker and pull it over to where the beat should be the wave does not move.  The transient turns pink and moves but the wave remains where it is.

I do not want to quantize to the metronome.  I want to match up bass and drum transients.

How do I get the wave to move with the transient?  I do not want the entire track clip to move but only that one transient wave.

I’m missing the obvious here.   All replies will be greatly appreciated.   JP

You need to move it by the 'stalk' rather than the 'button' in the middle. If you grab the blob in the middle of the transient marker all it does is move the marker relative to the audio (so you can set it very precisely) if you grab the stalk / bar it will do it's AS magic and stretch / change the audio.
