How do I have both GPO4 and DimensionPro instruments at the same time?

Is it possible to create a project where some of the midi tracks trigger the GPO4 instruments in an Aria player, and some other midi tracks trigger Dimension Pro instruments?

When I have both of these virtual synths present, only one or other of them seems to appear in the various track selection dropdown menus. I know I can load SFZ files into the GPO, to get the same 'raw' sounds as in the DimPro, but then I lose some of the DimPro controls that I'd like to be able to use.

I'm not using a keyboard - the music data is all created in staff or event windows.

Thanks in anticipation.

You can load as many different synths into a project as your computer will allow. You just need to set the output of the MIDI track(s) to drive whatever synths you want to use.

Thanks, Scott. But when I try to route a midi track to a virtual synthesizer, I only seem to get one of the synths visible on the drop-down menu. Do I have to separate the synths out by giving themdifferent channels, or something?

Hmmm... no, you shouldn't need to do anything. They should both show up in the MIDI track's output list. I'm not sure why you can't see them both.

Thanks Scott - my fault, I wasn't looking hard enough/in the right place.

Everything seems fine, and there don't seem to be any timing issues between the DimPro and GPO.

    Thanks.
