How do I keep my envelopes based in H:M:S:F instead of M:B:T when switching project tempo?

Help!

I record all source audio on an external unit (Korg D888) and then import audio into Music Creator 5 (Version 5.0.5.6).  I would like to used tempo based effects, but I forgot to set my tempo before I imported the audio.  I do not want to change audio speed, which MC is not doing currently, but all of the envelopes I have already drawn (track and bus) move with the tempo I input to the wrong places.  Didn't really want to redo them, because they sound perfect (crossfading audio takes in and out on busses where I may have a small performance problem with another take, also have set tons of automation on tracks).

Can I do some sort of global or project option setting that will keep envelopes in H:M:S:F format as opposed to M:B:T? From what I have already read, I do not want to enable audio stretching, as the performances are locked into an external click track on the Korg, and currently at the correct tempo:  I would prefer not to process the audio itself in any way.  I'm kinda frustrated with myself because this would have been easy if I just would set the tempo at the beginning of the project, but this would be a good thing to have in my arsenal anyways.

So again, the main question:  Can I do some sort of global or project option setting that will keep envelopes in H:M:S:F format as opposed to M:B:T?  Or is there some other way to fix this?

Thanks,

Pole
