How do I lock faders?

I want to lock certain faders in Sonar X2 because from time to time I bump another fader on my nanoKontrol when mixing.  How do I do this?

Thanks,

Aric

You can try right clicking on the fader and select Disable Control but I don't know if that will have any effect for your setup.

System: i7-6900, 64Gb, AMI X99 Carbon Pro Gaming, AMD Radeon HD 7700, Win 10 Pro
    PCIe: UAD Octo
USB: MOTU midi express 128, OB-6 Module, Akai MPK-249, Moog SUB 37, Antelope Orion 32 HD, Softube Console 1, iLok, eLicenser
DAW: Cubase Pro, Ableton Live, Sonar Platinum
Plugins: Waves, UAD, Xfer, Lennar Digital, u-he, Reveal Sound, Spectrasonics, SoundToys, VPS, Blue Cat, iZotope, NI, Valhalla, Lexicon, etc.

I'm sorry I didn't describe want to do clearly.  I know how to put faders into groups.  What I want to do is use the transport controls on my midi controller but not have the faders on the controller have any effect on the faders in X2.  I have a bad habit of bumping the fader controls and throwing off my mix.  What I really want to do is freeze the faders in X2 so they don't move when bump the faders on my controller.

How about use a volume automation envelop. If you accidentally move a fader, the envelope will put the fader back where it was.

    SONAR Platinum
    RME Fireface UFX
    Tascam US 20X20
    Tascam US 16X08
    Intel i7-5830K LGA2011V3 (6 CORE)
    Asus X99-AII
    Corsair Vengeance DDR4 32GB
    Geeforce GTX 970 4GB
