How do I?
Adjust the volume of the included samples, they seem overpoweringly loud whilst previewing them compared to the rest of my mix? Thanks.

Insert a limiter on the bus where you're previewing them.

Thanks Jonesey, just wondering if there is a global way of doing it without customising a template though?

How about turn down the level on the bus where you are previewing them? I'm not trying to be a wise guy... I don't use the browser much... isn't there a level control that is easy to find? best regards, mike

A separate volume control on the browser for the samples would be a handy thing perhaps at some future point Mike, im not nearly as clued up with Sonar as some of you guys, the sound comes through the master bus and ive no idea how to insert a separate one to link it to the browser if in fact it can be done at all.

ah ok, I'm pretty sure you can route he browser preview to any bus or output. So perhaps you can set add a browser bus and send that to master. Route the browser playback to the bus you name "browser" and use the level controls there to blend it in to your master. I don't know the exact way to select a different bus in the browser... but once you find it, it will have seemed obvious. Good luck. best regards, mike
