How do I permanently stop subscription notifications from this forum?
So everytime I post in a thread, it automatically subscribes me to it and my email gets flooded with notifications. I tried following the steps to remove the subscriptions, but it doesnt stop new subscriptions from automatically happening.
In the past on a similar forum that had this, I marked the notifications as junk. I was instantly banned by the forum for doing so, and I have no idea how they would even find out I had marked their hundreds of emails as junk in the first place, so obviously I dont want that happening again.

In your User Control Panel are you subscribed to forums, rather than individual threads? Never had the problem myself, so guessing at an answer.

In addition to what James said, you really should be only subscribing to one particular Fred........just don't read it before bedtime. HTH

Nope, it auto subscribes to any thread I make a post in.

I live for the "subscribe to all" notifications until such time that I decide a given fred is of no use to me (i.e. no way can I increase my pos.... intelligence).

As the idea forms, ever so slowly, consideration is given to where this character might fit in The Grande Story. Like the darkness fading to light in the morning, so has the memory of that FRED. It may be lost forever, but expect no condolences from this, the most stoic of the basement forum dwellers. As do all uptight straight guys that frequent this lowly of low places I wonder, "Will it ever be found again?" For what purpose might it be resurrected? I have an actual ROOM in my mother's house thank you kindly.
Though a whole basement would probably be much bigger, but we dont have one!
