How do I plit the drums into individule tracks from a single track>

The drums are all in one track. I would like individule tracks for each drum. How to divide them into seperate tracks from a combined track? Thank you.

Use the Split Note to Tracks CAL script. What program and version are you using?

Well, if you had Sonar 8.5 I could tell you how to find the CAL scripts but I can't help you with X-1. But the CAL script will do what you want to do.

    First things first:
Are you talking about MIDI or audio :o/
    If MIDI, what soft synth?
If audio, you need a drum replacer or an intensive session with Audiosnap or V-Vocal (don't remember which one, too early morning, can't think).

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

If it's a drum plug-in then you need to select 'all synth audio output' instead of 'first synth audio output'. When you open the synth rack you see a synth options button where you can make this adjustment. Then you may or may not have to manually route each part of the plug-in to each a separate available output. Depends which plug-in you use but it'll be obvious when you play the sounds.

Assuming it's a midi track, a cal script should work. You can also copy the original track into as many separate tracks as you need, open in piano roll view, and in each track delete (by selecting the key in the left pain) all drums except for the one(s) you want. I usually separate into cymbals, snare, toms, and kick.
