How do I preview audio in sonar x3 so it triggers in sync?

Hi there.
I just wondered if someone could offer some advice, for when it comes to previewing audio (particularly loops) from the browser so that the sample will start in sync (ie: so if it was a 8 bar bass loop, it would start at the beginning of any drum loop in the project whilst the song is playing)
I have recently switched to Sonar X3 from Ableton Live 8 and if any of you are familiar with live, it seems really good at auditioning audio in sync with the project.
I'm sure Sonar X3 will be the same, but I haven't been using it long and would appreciate any advice.
Thank.

Depends on the file type. In the menu on Media tab of the browser is an option to "Preview At Tempo Host" for audio and MIDI groove clips. See http://www.cakewalk.com/D...p;help=Browser.03.html
