How do I remove a tempo change I previously inserted?

Yea I know, super noob question....Im sure its real simple sry its very late.

I inserted a tempo change a while back and now Id like to remove it but dont see it marked as an ''event'' in any ''view'' where I can manage or delete it. Just want to straight up remove the tempo change.

In your main menu click VIEWS>TEMPO or press the Alt+9 keyboard shortcut. That will open your tempo map where you can insert/delete/edit tempo changes. You can use the Vertical/Horizontal Zoom In and Zoom Out buttons to fine tune your changes. If you just want to delete an inserted tempo change grab the eraser to the left of the Snap to Grid button and click drag over the change.

Open up the Tempo View, Under Views/Tempo view ( Alt+9), should get you to see how to change your tempo change.

There is a Tempo Event view.
Open that and you can edit any tempo changes you've made.

Everyone's steered you well to the Tempo Map - Get to know that window.  It can help your projects immensely.  Turn the grid off and draw in nice tempo changes that will make your music--more musical.

Thanx all, as always you guys are the best...probably not the best place to post this, but is there anyone out there looking to collaborate? Bassist/Vocalist by nature but also own 2 gtrs (been playing for about 5 yrs) Alesis drum machine, also use sonar session drummer and ez drummer as well as soundfonts studio and synthetic synth.

Anyhow everyone is so cool and seems like it would be fun so just throwing that out there. Have a great weekend all and God bless.

The Views/Tempo Map has saved my sanity on numerous occasions. When I've insert a new tempo, the project will suddenly revert to the original tempo after a few measures much to my chagrin. Opening the Tempo Map allows me to Select and delete the unwanted tempos.

Regarding collaboration, there are many sites where fellow musos hang around only too willing to join in. One thing you should be aware of though is that you need to develop a thick skin. Don't take it personally if the killer bass-line you lay down isn't anything like what the originator wanted.
