How do I save versions

Someone posted a way to save versions of CbB but I'm damned if I can find it, I know it involved precise timing during install of new versions and as current version is working fine I'd like to be able to save installer. Anyone have the link or necessary instructions.

    The easiest way to search these forums is with Google and preface any search with "site:forum.cakewalk.com"
     
    I think for that one I had used "site:forum.cakewalk.com saving CbB download" and remembered the OP title when I saw it (second post listed there). Oddly enough it comes up as the mobile version and on page 2, so I corrected the url.
     
    The "site" entry limits the search area, and the more search terms you include will sometimes find things best.
