How do I select a clip in Sonar X1?

So I'm in Track View in Sonar X1 - just recorded a track. Want to select the clip to quantise or delete it. Click on "Select" tool (next to Smart/Move/Edit/Draw/Erase). Click on track in track view. Doesn't select. Click on track again. Doesn't select.

DOUBLE CLICK on track view (opens piano roll), close piano roll view, NOW clip is selected.

Arrrghhhh.

Click the bottom half of a clip to select the entire clip. Drag within the top half of a clip to select only part of a clip.

Move your mouse to the lower side of the clip until the arrow-cross appears. Left-click and you are done.

    P.S. Scott was faster ;-)

What Scott stated, and I'll add, leave the tool in Smart Mode.   Also, the track height needs to be high enough for the smart tool to figure out where you mouse is and, subsequently, select the right tool for the job.
