How do I use Kirnu Arp in music creator 5?

Hi, anyone who can help me with this?
 
I have installe the VSTi Kirnu Arp (http://www.artovaarala.com/) and cannot get it setup correctly. I can see it and choose it as a VSTi instrument. Thats no problem. The problem is how do i actually add tracks and make sweet sounds emenate from my speakers.
 
I've only been using MC5 since Feb 2011 and am still learning. I'm hoping someone can REALLY dumb it down for me and hold my hand enough for me to get this thing going.
 
I mean very basic detailed step by step, this is how you do it bonehead kind of instructions...

    can you get other synths to make music?

    what sound card are you using?

    Welcome to the forum.
    Simple method: Insert synth. Make sure 'Create MIDI Source Track' box is checked.
    MIDI Source track and synth are inserted. Select patch in synth GUI. Or in the MIDI track, depends on the synth.
    In MIDI track, open Piano Roll View (PRV) or Staff view and click in some notes with the mouse.
    Hear sweet sounds emanate from your speakers.
