How do you clear an ACT assignment?
If I've got a control surface knob mapped to a control, and I want to get rid of that assignment, how can I do it? I can see how you can change a knob to something else, but not how you can clear it.

Not found a way in Sonar no. I went and edited the XML files with the mappings in, but I dont reccomend this if it's not something you're used to doing.

I tried to find a way once, but gave up - all I could do was reassign something.

Yes you can. I did.
You can go back to square one if you have virgin .xml files
for your C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Cakewalk\ACT Data folder from a fresh install or unlearned state.
As far as editing these I have not tried but was able to restore the act xml files to unlearn some learnins I had learnt and wanted Sonar to forget.
And forget it did.
Cakewalk should give us a unlearn by plug integrated editor for this.
Hope this helps.
