How do you do MIDI Loop Recording?

Hi All-

What's your preferred method? I'm seeing pros and cons using Store Takes in Single Tracks vs. Store Takes in Separate Tracks.
I'd rather use Takes in Single Tracks, but then how do you make edits in the PRV?  If I solo a Take Lane, that's not necessarily the one I see in PRV. At one point I saw *all* of the takes in the PRV, but of course that's not want I want, either.

Thanks-

-Susan

Hi, you need to enable View > Hide Muted Clips, then mute all the clips (takes) you don't want to see in the PRV.

    Hi Tak-

Hide Muted Clips was enabled, but I have to explicitly mute the clips in the Take Lanes; muting the Take Lane itself doesn't hide it in the PRV. I'm not sure why that is, though. It seems to me if the Take Lane is muted, that should be enough to hide all the clips on it from the PRV.

    Thanks-

I might be having a flashback to a similar issue with hiding muted layers in 8.5.3? Or not. At any rate, if there isn't already an FR for an option to Hide Muted Take Lanes in PRV, maybe I'll submit one.
