How does Brandon edit his strings in PRV?

In the last video Brandon created a very cool strings template with 3 or 4 VSTIs...I've made my own and digging it but have a question:  How can I group all (3 in my case) to where when I edit one note in the PRV I edit all 3 of them?  Thanks very much,  Randy

That sounds like Linked clips to me.   I believe the option to create Linked clips is available when Copy>Pasting.   So you'd create a clip in the first instrument track and then paste it to the second and third instruments using the Linked option.  Change the original and both copies should change as well.

Disclaimer: I haven't actually used Linked clips in quite some time so my description may not be 100% on target.

You're probably right Steve but surely there's an easier way?
Either that or I just need to not make mistakes when recording

I think that's the only way to have one clip be the "master" while all of the copies follow along.   If that's what you're trying to do...?

But if it still works the way it used to, it's really not difficult at all, you just need to use the Linked option which is off by default.

    Thanks Steve,
So let me make sure I understand the workflow...I record whatever I need to record on one track/VSTI and then copy/paste to the other 2 tracks and then link them for editing?
    Thanks again,
    Randy

Yes, that's the idea.  The duplicate clips are linked during the Copy/Paste operation - I think it's Paste that includes the link option, though you may need to show the advanced settings to see it.
