I replied to the Android thread linked to above. This is its follow-up. I'll post a photo when I get the mics set up for testing.

Laptop: IBM ThinkPad T43p (single core Intel Pentium Centrino mobile; 1 GB RAM)
OS: Win7 32-bit (just barely; came with XP; no Win10 video driver)
DAW: Reaper 32-bit (seems "lighter" to me, requirements-wise, compared to SONAR or S1v3)
Audio i/f: PreSonus AudioBox 44VSL (so far, it looks like the driver is functioning properly)
    Mics: CAD GXL 3000 (x2), MXL 990 (x3), MXL 991 (x2)

All I'm looking for is recording and monitoring. All raw stems will be moved to SPlat on my PC.

Since my laptop is below specs, I need to verify that I can make pop- and click-free recordings at 48/24.

Sure wish that the Android DAW (AE Mobile) could do phase inversion. Then I wouldn't be going through any of this.
