I didn't know that. Very interesting.. (No, really)

The more I listen to The Beatles, the more I hear the influence of George Martin. Not to take anything away from the genius and originality of the Fab Four but I often wonder how many other 60's combo's never reached their full potential because they got a 'staff producer' and a sub-Abbey Road facility and engineers to do their stuff with.

So they were "true" artists like Hemingway?

I still reckon this was the influence that led to Buckingham/Nicks Fleetwood Mac sequel that came later.

It's a theory of mine anyway.

Will get that book Daryl, I am fully aware or the roles the engineers at Abbey Road played for The Beatles but you can never get enough detail... Thanks

Not sure why everyone is so in awe of the so-called "Fab Four," they didn't even spell their band name correctly...

They wrote some of the finest toe-tappers ever to make the hit-parade too.

once again no mention of Peter Green-the early mac were a pretty good band but it`s the riff that`s inspiring-it took me months to master it!
cheers

Should it have been "Fab Fore", "Fab For" or "Fab Fur"?
