How is Sonar 6 like Jesus?

About a year ago my Tascam US-428 just stopped working. No sound would come out and the control surface features would not work. At the time I needed to finish a project so I just bought a US-122 and never looked back. Well last week I obtained S6 and have been loving it. Last night I wondered if the ACT tool could ressurect my US-428. So I hooked it up an selected it as a control surface, to my amazement the lights blink on and all was well. There is still a problem with the sound output, but all of the control surface feature are working, which is all I need it for anyway. Hallelujah!!! S6 has brought my US-428 back from the dead!

Since we only need to know what's New (Testament) about Sonar 6 (Jesus) the Old Testament (Sonar Genesis) is left out of the Manual.

Coming from a guy named Abe, I certainly hope that's tongue in cheek. I will assume it is and give you a hearty LOL.

Of course anyone who's read their Bible knows that Jesus quoted extensively from the old testament, so it must have been important to him. IMO there is nothing worse than an "exclusively new testament Christian". Sorry for the OT, but the deceptive subject line of this thread invites it.

If Sonar dies, it dies, life will go on. When Jesus died, He did it so that you, me, and everyone else on the face of this earth may live and have a chance to see the kingdom of heaven should you choose to believe in Him and your lifestyle is evident that you believe in Him. Sonar is not comparable to Jesus, not even in a joking way. I like Sonar 6 a lot, it's the best thing that happened to digital audio for me. I just don't see how one could use the name of Jesus in such a cheap way. If you feel as good about Sonar as I do, then you should credit that to God, since all good things come from Him. I think I should stop here because this could get very big and that's not what this forum is about. I just didn't feel so good about seeing His name used that way. I guess since I was just talking with Him, I kind of took offense to this since I know how good He is to all of us, that just wasn't high enough praise to me, even though you said Hallelujah, which is the highest praise.

Oh boy.....Please lets not let this go there. Next the Christian haters will come out and then some Christians will feel a need to defend....this thing is just going to spiral. Hopefully I am wrong, but I've seen it happen all too often. I am a Christian and I did not find it offensive. I thought it was funny. Let's be more like Jesus and turn the other cheek, forgive offenses, and not judge.....

I wasn't judging anyone, This was just my initial reaction to seeing the post, but by the time I got done typing, I really didn't even feel that way anymore, but I only went though with posting it just in case it meant something that I might not even know about. I'm really not offended by it, but I do know that everything happens for a reason, and what ever the reason for me posting it is, we might find out, or whoever it was meant for might find out, It could be someone on this forum who has never even heard the name Jesus before so I don't know, but like I said I'm cool.

The thread was made in jest. It was an attempt to satirize (if that's a word) all of us who were waiting (some still are) for our S6 to arrive like the second coming while also commenting on the good job the folks at Cakewalk have done with this upgrade.

I'm not trying to start nothing but, I didn't mention religion, and Speaking of Jesus is not speaking of religion, Speaking of Jesus is Speaking of Salvation, which by me feeding back in converse, I might not be doing such a good job with mine. As far your quote being a universal commandment, maybe that's with your religion, but in mine, it is my duty to spread the word any and everywhere that I can, so that I won't be responsible for any person that does not have salvation that I may have been able to lead them in the right direction. I knew this thread would turn out like this, but like I said, everything happens for a reason. So be it

I agree, this forum is not a place meant for spiritual conversations, but if someone opens a door, unexpected things tend to enter.
