How many...

...freaking posts do I have to have before I can PM a moderator to let me have my original (pre the 2003 forum software update) user account back?

Use the feedback form https://www.cakewalk.com/My-Account/Feedback instead of PM. The feedback form can be used right now. Usually the automatic store migration fails because the email used to setup the Single Sign On is not the same as the store account.

    Thank you.

The email associated with both accounts is the same. I sent through the feedback link you provided. But I don't have a lot of faith that it will be resolved as it's not been rectified in the past. But thank you again.

I purposely posted this in the SONAR forum because I knew it's getting a lot of traffic today.

Here is a reply from Ryan today on another thread about a similar situation http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3147265

There are other causes for store migration failure, email mismatch is a very common cause though.

So, I'm curious. Are you saying my forum login is tied to my store account login? I can login to the store and see all of my products back to SONAR 7 (although I've made every upgrade sin Pro Audio 8). The store is no problem.

I can see my original username in the member list but when the new forum software came out it wouldn't let me go with the original username.

Am I just being thick here?

The old store account is gone.

The new Single Sign On, the ID you are using to post here, is your new store ID and account ID https://www.cakewalk.com/My-Account. All of your registered products back to SONAR 7 should show here https://www.cakewalk.com/My-Account/Products. In my case some educational products like copies of  "SONAR Power!" did not migrate but everything with a serial number and/or download are listed back to ProAudio 9. Use the feedback form https://www.cakewalk.com/My-Account/Feedback if there are problems with the product list in https://www.cakewalk.com/My-Account/Products.

I thought the number was reduce to 3 with a 3 day old account with the new forum spam killer went online. Could be more though. The thing is the staff do not want PMs about product list issues and are directing everyone to the feedback form and/or contacting support directly.

You are right, it is a different SSO issue, sorry. Can move it to the forum discussion area if you wish.

No, that's alright. Knowing it can't/won't be resolved, there's no reason to continue beating it.
